help,confused with high voltages
hi! i recently bought a new pc that is:
mobo asus p5gd1 pro cpu p4 3.0 GHz ( LGA 775) vga asus nvidia 6200 tc HDD 120 GB TV CARD PCI MODEM PSU 420 W (20 PIN) in my asus probe i see these : 12v = 12.196-12.249 5v = 5.196- 5.222 3.3 v = 3.348-3.379 vcore = 1.43 i read other useful posts for the same problem and it seems to me that i am ok. but isnt a little bit high the 5v ? i swap another psu from a friend 400w(20 pin ) and it gave me almost the same results exept the 3.3v it was now closer to the state ,about 3.338. now i ask : does the PSU has to do with it becouse the 2 psu's i used were 20 pin and my mobo has an 24 pin attachment. i haven't problems at all until now. playing games like fifa2004, or nfs und2, and converting high quality videos the voltages that i wrote are very stable even at full cpu load. normally i wouldn't worried but since i'm sending the pc to my parents in village far away from me and knowing that there they have no support at all ,and it will be difficult to me to fix any problem related, in a short period i mean. so i was thinking in the future could it be a problem and damage the pc parts? or i should not be worried? thank u in advance for any advices! |
