Ram/Memory upgrade questions

Hello,

this is a long post and im very sorry about it, please read it

i'm considering updating my older cpu's ram/memory and was wondering if anyone could tell me if the ram stick i plan to use will be compatible with my current ram sticks

here is the pc ram stick i plan to add

Looks right to me. The keywords are 133 SDRAM-NON ECC

yes i tryed to do my homework took alot of googling befor i found out if my ram stick installed already was ECC or Non ECC i mean everest which is what looked like a good way to get information about whats in my pc just said that the current ram installed has no error detection method and still wasnt sure if its ecc or non ecc unless that in itself automaticly means its non ECC, but i assume it isnt hopefully i purchased the right ram,

i think in future its best to build my own pc vs buying one from the store so i know exactly what can and is inside of it

if you know any software that gives even more information like if the ram is ecc or non ecc i would appreciate it also thank you
