Sound system though out house

I would like to add a sound system through out my home but i do not know were to begin and i would like as little wires a possiable and i want the head unit to be my computer. Thank you any info will help

ive got apple airtunes all round my house.

probaly the easiest way to get it round ur house wirelessly.
