I have a wireless [via USB receiver thingy]mouse and a wired mouse connected at the same time on my desktop. Sometimes I use the wireless one plugged into this laptop which means the touchpad doofah works as well at the same time. I assume you will have no problemo. This is XP pro in case that effects it but I don't imagine it should make any difference.
In case anyone was wondering why I use 2, the reason is because the wired one has a better functioning wheel on it whereas the other one is more convenient sometimes.
