New Monitor Problems... LCD , Help please.

Hey guys,

Sorry to bother again, i just bought a new monitor: Envision EN7220, Its LCD Flat scree with a maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024@75hz.

My video card is a radeon 9000.

Here is my problem.... i turn on the pc everything works fine, no problems at all... but then i try and run a game "Anarchy ONline" And as soon as it loaded it started flickering like crazy... just way too much... i couldnt evne look at it my eyes hurt. So well i lookined in properties see if i could fix it somehow.. i changed the refresh rate from 60hz to 75 hz and it is flickering still but not that much, just a little bit... still does it only on the game....

I got updated drivers from the monitors maker site and still no go.

Any tips? Thank you very much any help is appreciated.

As LCD screens have no refresh there's no way that adjusting it will help. Most modern screens would just give a "Signal out of range." message and wait for you to revert to the previously working setting.

Check inside the game itself for display settings. It sounds like it is changing your windows default settings when it runs.
