Power Settings

I UPGRADERED MY BIOS( DELL INSPIRON 5150). MY BATTERY WAS NEW AND WAS WORKING PROPERLY BUT ITS STOPED CHARGING AFTER THE UPGRADING.
THE BATTERY IS DOWN AND THE COMPUTER DOES NOT RECOGNISE THE BATTERY, I MEAN THE BATTERY ICON IS NOT SHOWING.......
WHAT DO I DO.......

remove it for a short time and put it back in, try doing it with the machine unplugged.

still not working

its stillnot working, i tried entering the BIOS to set the power management but i cant enter the BIOS

Are you sure you flashed it with the correct file? Sounds like it is either not the correct file or it did not flash correctly.

wrong flash software

looks like now someonr is understanding what really went wrong!!!

i used the A31 for A36. the wrong flash file obvisouly. and thats what has caused the problem. i cant even get into the Bios and fix things...... I NEED HELP REAL BAD.

I WANT TO KNOW IF UNGRADING MY WINDOWS WILL HELP ANY BETTER?

No, upgrading Windows will not help. You need to try to flash your bios again with the correct file. If you are unable to do this, then the only option is to replace the BIOS chip. This is something that is not easily done in a laptop.
