Crossover RAM?

Hi there to everyone and to anyone that could help me. I Just bought a Stick of 512 Pc3200 DDR RAM - but it also sed crossover at the side. Would this be ok to work with my normal 512 PC3200 DDR RAM or am i going to have to send it back when it arrives

Mmm never heard of crossover RAM. Do you have a link to the RAM you purchased ? Maybe it was just a product name like "HYPER-X" form Kingston.

It'll depend on your board and if you intend on running the RAM in dual channel or not if the RAM will work with your other RAM. As you might know mixing different brands of RAM sometimes works, sometimes it doesnt.
It wont hurt anything to try it out though.

Well Corsair is the company that makes it.

Like i said - it'll depend on what motherboard you'll use it on but for most single channel applications its ok to mix RAM if you cant buy identical sticks.
