Best CPU Fans! Normal CPU Tempatures?

Hi. I am the blob great support site.

I need to know what are the greatest CPU fans for amd processors for example mine loll! I

need to know what kind of fans I should get for a amd athlon xp 2400+ cpu fan because

my CPU is running at 50c all the time or higher so I would think my fan is bad right?

And I have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb that runs pretty hot too what kind of fans

should I get for that too?

The stock fan you got with the CPU is generally OK. One of my service guys in the back is a "Cooling Fanatic". His AMD 2500 Barton core (with a FX6800 video) idles at 29c and hard core games in the high 30's and low 40's. He installs a side fan (standard case fan) right over the CPU, and installs another one on the front of the case. All these fans blow into the case, and all hot air exits through the power supply. The power supply's we use are all dual fan types, one sucking from the bottom, and one blowing out the rear of the case. The key is to get as much cool air into the case as possible. Keep at least 12 inches clearance around the case. Inspect and clean the fans often ... especially if the computer sits on the floor.

That’s some great info I don’t think there’s a place to put a fan In the front but there are vents there I just don’t see where I could screw it in and if I did put one there does that mean I would have to change the power supply because I got no idea if its got a dual fan or not.

To cool my pc I use a TT Tower 112 heatsink and I have a tornado fan blowing through the heatsink and another tornado blowing out of the case. I have a fan control to turn the fans down because otherwise they are very loud. I have a Prescott 3.4 oc'd to 3.75 and I idle at around 30C and with a load mid to upper 40's. Although my pc is a intel the heatsink works with some amd's.
