Please help with computer problem
I bouhght an isdn external modem and it made my computer restarted automatically over and over. So I took my computer to a tech to help me. The modem was faulty. So when I got my computer back I did a restore to a date prior installing the modem. When I'm working on the comp it's switches off by itself. But not completely. The screen is black and the green on light is off but when I push the on/off switch I can hear it only turn off completely. When I start the computer. All the lights come on but nothing happens only after a few tries it comes on.
Hope it make sense. Thanks you in advance. |

Windows XP
Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 AMD (Duron) 748 Mhz, 224 mb of Ram When I go to the power options in control panel under UPS it says The USP is currently stopped. On top it says uninterrupted powersupply. The status is greyed out and there is no details. Like no manufacturer and model selected. Hope this is the correct info. |

to get the specs from your power supply take the side off the computer case and look at the label on the side of the supply for the information
if you are connected through an ups bypass it and connect direct to the power toeliminate that has the cause of the problem
