HI everyone, hopefully you can help me with this issue. I have onboard sounds on my reltively new motherboard, however i just got a gaming headset so i can use teamspeak and ventrillo etc. but people hear me talking but really quietly, my mic volume is on high so why wont it work.
Also, i dont know if any of you use ventrillo but on there i cant increase the hardware volume , it wont move :( Hopefully oyu can help me out here as its kind of important i get it sorted. Thanks |

in the audio control panel, if you set it to show advanced buttons, there is a 20db mic gain button, select it.
your microphone should get about 10 times louder.
