dvd drive problems
hello again, well i seem to be experiencing a strange behaviour with my LG GSA-4160B dvd writer, when ever i try to burn data on to it "anime episodes ;) " it burns perfectly but when i try to access it, it either states cyclic redundancy error when i try to copy an episode back to the desktop, or just freezes when i try to choose the file. the media iam using at the moment is princo dvd 4x 4.7 gigs. however the drive seems to burn the princo cd-rs perfectly, and even read the previous princo dvds i burned just the other day. they even burn the same data perfectly on another kind of dvd "ridisk 8x 4.7 gigs". i thought it might be the media, but my friend who encountered the same problem in his drive which is exactly the same as me, said he resolved it by rolling back his drivers, which i did but no use. I even formated the pc "it was in schedule anyways ;)" still no results....
i shall also try the drive on another pc and see if it goes well very soon, but id still like to know if i have any other options left.... thanks in advance!! system specs btw are: AMD duron 1.15 ghz 512 ram k7 chips mobo 6 gigs WD + 120 WD hdd drives ati radeon 9200 128 mb |
