PSU question: on and off by pins?
Hey, I have a psu I want to test, but no MB.
Can I cross wires on the ATX connector to make it turn on? I want to use it for a project. Thanks. |

yes, you can.
simply connect the green to a black. (green is pin 14.) you may have to put load on the pin marked pwr-ok. (details at http://www.bluemax.net/techtips/ATXP...pplyWiring.htm )
