Mobile Phone (cell)

hey, this could be a tricky case
im trying to install the Motorola V300 Mobile Phone (cell) to my computer, so I can transfer images from the phone (it's a camera phone/mp3 as well), and add an mp3 ringtone.. I got a handful of images, and it stopped.. I've tried several times to re-install the software but it keeps going

"mobile will not function without the modem installed/configured.. would you like to install/configure now" ?

If I chose no, it'll bring up the program (in the gui of a mobile itself) and it comes up with the screen "Mobile Image Not Loaded". the gui is supposed to be of the actual model of the phone itself.. the one shown isn't the right model.

http://www.mobile-review.com/phonemo...image/v300.jpg that is the actual model look.

any ideas ?
