Logisys keyboard

I just purchased a Logisys black multimedia keyboard with clear back lit keys. I'm running windows xp pro. My problem is I'm getting a volume bar flashing across the screen it's irritating. Any way to turn it off? I don't need volume control buttons on my keyboard anyway.

Re: Logisys keyboard

Try loading the software that came with the keyboard. You should then be able adjust the controls.

Re: Logisys keyboard

I did load software twice, that's when I get a volume bar that flashes across the bottom of the screen. I've also unchecked the show icon on task bar box in properties. Thanks for your response.

Re: Logisys keyboard

I meant, that after loading the software, you can often enable/disable features and/or remap keys from within the software. In any case, it is likely tied to a key or key combination that you are using. For instance, pressing Caps Lock will display a "Caps Lock On/Off" message.
