Mouse not working
Hi, thank you so much for your help in advance.
ALso, I apologize for my poor grammer and spelling- English is not my first language. So, I have a Sony Vaio SZ series notebbok. I am running window XP pro. I've recently been infected with a virus(which I seeked help on this site but failed to fix/rid of the virus) which started to cause enormous problems on my notebook. I never had any trouble with my mouse or keyboard until my notebook was infected with virus. My notebbok started freezing up often and especially my mouse just stopped working at random. My keyboard also stopped working at random. AFter about a week of techsupportforum's help, and able to resolve the virus issue, I was told to reformat my C: drive. I restored my C drive to factory setting and notebook's mouse is still not working. It works when I turn off and restart the pc, or hibernate and then restart the notebook. It'll work for about 5 mintues or so and then just doesn't work anymore. Samething with my keyboard but much less frequently than the mouse. The tech guy helping me with the virus said to ask HERE for help. I don't know if it's hardware problem because I already did a C: drive Recovery(like an hour ago). Can you help me correct this please? Thank you. |

Re: Mouse not working
Have you installed all of the Windows updates. Also use the Sony Vaio update utility and ensure you have all of the Sony updates.
