Computer won't boot up
Been having a problem the last couple of days when turning on my computer. It will start running but it kind of idles without beeping and doesn't display anything on my screen.
It seems that removing the power cord from the power supply and letting everything turn off fixes the problem. a couple of days before this started happening I replaced/upgraded 2 dimms and had to take out my video card in the process. Does anyone know what might be happening? btw I wasn't sure where to post this, so if it's out of place can a mod please move it somewhere more appropriate |

Re: Computer won't boot up
I suspect either the video card is not seated properly or you have a piece of memory that is not compatible with the other sticks. Reseat the card and if that doesn't fix it, then take the two new sticks out and see if it still boots properly. If it does, then put another stick in to eliminate which stick might be knackered.
