Wacom Tablet. Bamboo Pen & Touch - Installation Loop.

Hi. I was just looking online for a similar issue to what I'm having, but I haven't found any luck.. But this place seems active enough, and I see there are some Wacom users here.

The issue is this; I installed my tablet without any issues. However, I did unplug it for a while [Period unknown - Maybe a week or so]. I plugged it back in, and the tablet was still working in it's basic functions. But when I tried to use it in Photoshop [Version CS3], it was not registering my pen pressure. I had the brush settings the same as the last time I used it with pen pressure. I was also having issues with the eraser side of the pen not erasing, but using my secondary swatch color which to my knowledge, isn't how it's supposed to work.

So I went and tried to update the driver, but got pulled into this 'Restart your computer' loop. It would tell me I'd need to restart my system before being able to install the driver software, and give me an option to restart now, or restart later. Restarting later causes the installation to just stop. But restarting the computer just boots up normally, with no continuing installation.

It got the point where I just uninstalled the whole thing, and cleared all the data from my computer, including the registry. Now my computer will detect the tablet, but it does not display the device connected anywhere.

Trying to use the installation CD, and installing the Drivers I got from their website still lead me through this restart loop.. And now my tablet does not function on my computer at all.

I'm completely lost in the sauce. Would anyone be able to help me out here? If I can't get it up and running by later this afternoon, I'm probably just going to call up and cry to Wacom. Aye.

And in case anyone overlooked, I'm running Windows XP Pro 64-Bit Service Pack 2. Yes, I downloaded the appropriate drivers.
