Logitech headset microphone volume problems
I have two computers, one at my dad's, and one where I live. When I use my headset in my computer, the microphone is picked up and runs perfectly fine. However, at my dad's, the microphone functions, it's just really quiet. To the point that, without boosting the volume with a filter in Audacity (which causes artefacting), it's almost impossible to tell apart from the power supply's fan.
I'm using the mobo's onboard sound on both machines, so could it just be a drivers/mobo issue? Or is it some setting that I'm just missing? |
