Mouse problem, please help.

Hello everyone

I hope I post in the right thread.

I have a very strange problem with my mouse. I recentently bought a new computer with vista 64(sp2). I have updated all possible drivers I can think of. I have spent many hours searching the forums for a solution, but without success.

Well, let me try to explain my problem. When I move my mouse fast, the mouse cursor on the screen cant keep up with the speed. This is extremely annoying due to the fact that I lose my accuracy. It is not lagging per se, the motion of the mouse cursor is smooth. Its just that I can move my hand faster then the mouse cursor, if you understand what I mean.

What I have done to solve this:

-updated everything possible to update(I think).
-system restore
-checked my mouse on another computer(works fine there).

I can add that my mouse worked fine before so I didnt buy the computer with my mouse being like this.

I hope there is someone here who can help me out. It would/will make my day :)

Re: Mouse problem, please help.

I have one MX 5500 keyboard/mouse and one Razer Lachesis mouse. Installed and updated their software program. I didnt have them both installed at the same time. But the problem exsist on both of them.

Can it be a problem with my usb ports?

Re: Mouse problem, please help.

Adjust the pointer speed. There should be an option in the mouse software and in the Windows mouse properties.
