[SOLVED] Mouse acting funny

This is what is going on. When I click on the left mouse button on my Dell Inspirion 2600 laptop, both buttons act like they clicked. It doesn't matter if it's the buttons on the laptop, or if you plug in a mouse and click the buttons. Then a little bit later on, other buttons on the keyboard started to act funny. I do have antivirus on the computer, Avast!, but I am wondering if it could be a virus or something like that. I called my uncle that has a computer store and gave me the computer, but he said he never heard of anything like that.

Re: Mouse acting funny

I did a through virus scan, nothing came up. I'm scanning for spyware now, but I don't see how that would help.

Re: Mouse acting funny

Hmm... what I did was install the optional driver for my mouse, and pressed a few of the side buttons on the keyboard to make sure some funky setting wasn't on... and what do you know, it's working fine now!
