Re: Best voice Recording Software
What audio software do you already have, apart from Fruity Loops?
You could use the freeware Audacity to record from a mic, then import the file into FL for mixing. The audio quality will depend more on the mic and your sound card than the software used to record it. FL Tutorial: http://www.fruity-loops-tutorials.com

Re: Best voice Recording Software
Cakewalk has always been one of the best, but I prefer switching between Fruity Loops, Sound Forge and Rebirth.
Do you need professional level software or is it for home studio work? Once you get into the advanced options in FL, I think you'll find it's better than most other similar programs. It's great for creating and editing new sounds. I'm not sure what it's like for plugging MIDI instruments into though, I haven't tried that side of it. Give Audacity a go to see if the recording quality is good enough at 'best quality' settings. If not, then you might need to upgrade your mic because the sound quality will be about the same in any other software.
