Cable name ID
I have my computer setup with HDTV as monitor. I'm using the computer speakers coz they giv better sound but they are connected to the tv so that i'm using the speakers for the tv and computer audio.
How do i connect the left/right, centre and sub ports that come from the back of my sound card to the tv? the x530 logitech speakers have a g/o/b mini-jack cable that connects straight to the card but i'm looking for a cable that connects the 3 ports to the tv....... maybe some kinda green/orange/black 3 way cable to single 3.5mm (what might this cable this be called??) |

Re: Cable name ID
that's kinda what i'm after i've seen things like that but my sound card has outputs for sub/left/right/centre where as a cable like that would only output left and right......
am i correct in saying this? and that the signal is split into levels of sound by the card? so i'll need some adaptor which brings all ports together to produce one raw "line-out". Or as they say one "non-amplified clean signal". Onboard integrated ports have only this one line-out and line-in. p.s. my onbaord sound is dead... |
