32" HDTV as Monitor; Few question
So I just picked up a 32" HDTV and am currently using it as my computer monitor. I have some questions about how to get the best use out of it I can.
My graphics card is a Nvidia 9800 GT, which handles the HDTV pretty well. It runs it at its native resolution which is 1360 x 768. I am currently connecting it via a VGA cable from the monitor to a adapter that plugs into my DVI to allow me to sue the VGA cable on my computer. My only issue I currently have with this is the movie quality as it is right now. Its to be expected with its small resolution and large size that its going to look more pixalated (sp?) and not as good as if it was at a better resolution, but I am wondering if i connected it from a DvI --> HDMI cable if this video quality would look a little better. Its a 720p HDTV, but I dont think I get as good a picture as I would with the DVI to HDMI connection. Anyone have any advice for me to get the best out of this TV as my monitor? |

Re: 32" HDTV as Monitor; Few question
May or may not make any difference. If varies based on the hardware inside the TV/monitor. You also have to take into account the viewing distance. The further away you are, the better the picture will appear. The problem here is pixel size.
