emachine power problems

i have a emachine desktop ei204uk with a intermittent power problem
when i first plug into mains it powers on OK but when i switch off leave over night wont switch on again until i unplug from mains leave it for about 30 Min's plug it back in the power supply bangs push power button everything is OK until the next day.

Emachines are know for bad Power Supplies, they usually fail and take the motherboard with them so before to long test it with another PSU but it's a good bet the supply is failing.

emachines are notorious for weak power supplies . . you can look at our Power Supply Selection posting for ideas on replacements
