What is it made of?.. on a USB Flash drive?

Hi, I need this for a project I'm doing and would appreciate the response. I need to know what the USB mass storage controller and flash memory chip is made out of (or at least encased in).

I have a pic of what I'm talking about exactly here. The things I'm talking about are numbered (2) and (4).

Again thanks in advanced,
David.

All integrated circuits are manufactured basically the same: a semiconductor substrate with a copper backing encapsulated in an epoxy resin.

This article from TI should tell you everything you want to know.
