Microsoft External Ergonomic Keyboard Not Working 4000 v1.0
I have had this keyboard for 2-3 years and it has worked well with no issues. One day last week, when plugged into my laptop, it completely locked up the laptop keyboard and I could not type from the external either.
What is the expected lifespan of an external keyboard that is used daily? Is there a way to 'fix' whatever is making it lock up my laptop? Thanks much! Julia |

Lifespan varies. I've had some last much longer, and some not so longer. It's more a luck of the draw than anything. Test it on another PC if possible and see what happens.
