I need help

I have hp HP touchsmart pc. I have to reboot my computer about 3 or 4 times to get it to find the router so that I can get on the enternet. I know nothing about computers but I dont think that its my router because I can get on with my laptop all the time. I use satelite hughes net and thats all I can really tell you but I would be so very greatful for any help.
