CPU FAN ERROR! Help please
Hello,
If some of you remember I recently had some problems which resulted in me reformatting my computer. But after I did a reformat i've been getting an error when I start up my computer it says: CPU Fan Error! Press F1 to Resume When I first got the error, my fan was still running so I ignored it. Now the fan doesn't move but the lights on the fan still light up. Here are my computers full stats: Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit ASUS P6T Motherboard Intel Core i7 940 2.93Ghz Q-FX1700 512MB Quadro 12GB Ram (2 x Corsair TR3X6G 1333C9 GB RAM) Cooler Master V10 <-----Not working? Thermal Toughpower QFAN 850W PSU Silverstone Raven Black ATX Tower Case I just listed off all the things on my receipt hopefully this helps... images: Image 1. Picture of the startup error message Image 2. Screenshot of program SpeedFan Image 3. Close up of Fan Image 4-5 Image of computer, red circle = v10 fan thats not working blue circles are fans that are working... Thanks... ![]() ![]()

Re: CPU FAN ERROR! Help please
Is the fan connector secure on the motherboard?
edit: if the connection is good and the fans don't spin, you could try another mobo fan connector. If that doesn't get them spinning; http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/erma.php
