Cyberdrive CD/RW drive dead, but working LOL
Heres a funny for everybody, most of the day today I've been trying to install a program for my wife to use, and every time I run teh programs install the computer locks up, thinking I had a dirty cd drive I insert the cd cleaning disk, well it says please insert a cd in the drive which means the thing is dead, BUT it comes on with windows, and the try opens and closes, LOL It tok me most of teh day to figure out that the little laser components inside had died and the rest was still working
Yea I feel dumb I replaced it with a Toshiba DVD drive.

CD cleaning discs that use any type of raised cleaning device can cause damage/misalignment the laser.
