iPod Help..

I recently had my iPod in my front shirt pocket and I jumped to grab something and it popped out breaking into two peices on the ground. I promptly put it back together not really looking at the insides.

I went home and charged it and it comes on but it says the hold is on and I can't turn it off with the hold switch.

Should I take the iPod apart and try to fix it? Or is there anywhere I can bring it (Best Buy, Circuit City?) to get it fixed.

If I am able to take it apart myself how is it done? I have been trying to get it apart but I am not having any luck.

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

do you have warrantee ? i suggest you try getting a new one .. or getting it fixed by professional ..
if you try to fix it yourself and mess it up even more .. its a bigger hassle for you .. i saw juss give it to the professionals .. i mean an ipod is pretty expensive ... or at least it is for me :P
