ok. Here's the thing. I just bought a PS3 and I am hooking it up to my non hdcp monitor. So I was looking everywhere for solutions and thought of some things.
1. I think I could get away with getting a dvi-d to component dongle and then getting a hdmi to component cable. 2. Maybe I can connect it to my graphics card and decode the HD signal through my graphics card since it's hdcp enabled. And then display it on the monitor. Is there any way to do these? or if not is there anyway to get HD on a non HDCP monitor? If there isn't I am only running at 1440x900 will there be much of a difference in quality. and since my monitor is 32 bit, could i raise the color levels to full on my ps3 even if it isn't HD? Please help. |
