How can I remove my floppy drive

First off I don't have a floppy drive in my computer but when I go My Computer there is a floppy drive its bugs me because If I click on it t will take whole minute to find out that it doesn't even have one is there a way I can remove it?

Another thing I have two Monitors 22" and a 17" my 22" is working fine but my 17" display is too big so windows are 3x bigger then the screen itself My settings are 800 by 600, 60 refresh if I make my screen resolution bigger its says out of range on my monitor

DGM 22" Wide Screen LCD 1650 by 1050.
BLUEH 17" Wide screen 1024 by 768.
any help?

If it bothers you, you can disable the floppy drive in BIOS,

I have never done the two monitor thing, but would guess that they both have to be the same size to work right
