Razer Diamondback 3G

Hi all.

I'm having trouble with my Razer Diamondback 3G. I just got a new laptop (Sony VAIO AW) and installed the Razer software onto it, then mapped Button 4 and 5 to their standard positions, and [ and ] to Button 6 and Button 7 (those keys are arbitrary; it could have been any unused key).

6 and 7 ([ and ] remember) work fine, but even after downloading the latest driver for my mouse (1.00 - I put it in in Program Files > Razer > Diamondback 3G > Driver) 4 and 5 aren't working, either in-game or out - for instance they won't act as back and forward keys in Firefox.

I remember having the same problem when I reformatted by old computer but can't remember how the hell I solved it. Any help would be appreciated.

Games played: WoW

Been just over a week now; I've got a work-around but would really appreciate a firm solution.
