media keys on keyboard not working

running XP and have steelseries keyboard with media functions. It was working and has stopped. I still have sound but can not control it from keyboard. I have downloaded newest software for keyboard and my SB Audigy card. any thoughts on how to get the control bac on the keyboard?

Did you uninstall the old drivers before installing the newest drivers?
