Cable Box to PC with no Coaxial?
I just got a new cable box from comcast which i want to hook up to my PC so i can watch and record tv on my media center pc (i need the cable box to see my MLB extra innings package).
The cable box they gave me is RNG110...it has every output known to man except Coaxial out. Check it out page 6... http://www.comcast.com/MediaLibrary/1/1/Customers/Customer_Support/Digital_Cable_with_OD/Digital_Cable/12181-Pace%20110%20-%20User%20Guide.pdf Does anyone know the best way to hook this thing up and still get all the normal TV tuner functionality??? I've seen some tv tuner cards with s-video/composite/component in (like from Compro Technology) but I'm not sure if that will work for watching TV. |

Re: Cable Box to PC with no Coaxial?
Hey simpswr, thanks for the response. Actually I already have a splitter that splits the coax coming out of the wall, one goes to my modem and the other goes to the cable box.
The issue is the cable box has no coax out, only composite, component, hdmi and firewire out. So I'm looking for the best way to hook up the cable box to my PC and still get tv tuner-like functionality. |
