Fujitsu Siemens Amilo XL SERIES 3220W Problem

I have a problem with whatever it is affecting my screen which I can only describe as a rainbow trace. It is a lot more visible in games than it is using Windows although it is still present and is at its most noticible when closing a window. It occurs when objects on the screen move or change suddenly when things are stationary or not moving too fast, it appears OK.

Can anybody suggest a solution?

Thanks

If it's the same problem as in this Fujitsu forum thread ( link), I would replace the monitor.
