Trust mouse not responding

Hi, the other day my mouse started to become laggy and glitchy after i changed the batteries. Eventually it stopped working.

It is a trust mouse, 15393. http://snpi.dell.com/sna/images/prod...g/A2557785.jpg

After going to the trust support forums, there was a FAQ with a similar problem
There may be times when the mouse won't connect or loses connection. When this happens, you can try to reconnect your mouse following the steps below:

There may be times when the mouse won't connect or loses connection. When this happens, you can try to reconnect your mouse following the steps below:

First make sure the receiver is plugged into the computer. We recommend using only the USB connector for most computers.

Make sure you have fresh batteries in the mouse and they are installed correctly.

To reconnect the mouse please follow the steps below.
1. Press the Connect button on the receiver. The receiver's LEDs will go into a sequential flashing to indicate that the receiver is ready to accept a connection.
2. Press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse. The receiver's LEDs will now stop flashing sequentially. All the LEDs will go off briefly, then they will all flash once before returning to the state it was in before the connect button was pressed.
3. Your mouse is now connected to the receiver.
I tried this and found that the problem came from the fact that iw as using a dark surface which had been previously ok, but when i used a light surface for the mouse to run on it improved. Obviously it is easier for the mouse to work on a lightier surface but i previously have not had this problem.

After following the re-instillation above i managed to get my mouse to work. Turned it off last night and this morning it wouldn;t work. I tried restarting it and i can get the buttons on the mouse to work but i cannot get the mouse cursor to move.

Many thanks.

Re: Trust mouse not responding

Are you certain the replacement batteries are good?
