mouse not responding properly
Hi. My mouse is not working properly when i try clicking its not responding. At the log in screen when i try to click my username it wont click at all i need to use the keyboard to log in. I find that when pressing start responding is ok but after a while responding is lost. Like in youtube when i click on a video i cannot click the start button i need to click on start again before it can respond. i tried a new mouse but the same problem occured.
Please help

Is the mouse USB or PS/2 Boot the system into Safe Mode and test the mouse functionality.

o right its PS/2 but even my usb mouse does not work but every so restarts it goes back to normal but well it goes back and fort

Post the make/model of the PC. If this is a custom build then post the specs.

Open Device Manager
Click Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc Make sure all devices installed properly with no ? or !
