hard drive enclosures

I recently bought a Rocketfish 3.5 ince USB 2.0 Hard drive Enclosure kit to transfer files from my old hard drive to a new one. but my computer will not find the drive on the My Computer screen. it says it has connected and the computer has found it but i cant view the files. i plugged in the new hard drive and it can find that and i can look at all the files on it. Please help me.

Look in disk management. Format and initilize the drive.
