Installing 1394 card

I wasn't certain where to put this, so forgive me if there's a forum that fits better. I need to put my footage on my new computer, and the only way I've been able to do that in the past is via firewire. I have the 1394 card already from my old computer, but my new computer is an HP Pavilion Slimline, so it doesn't have any slots for upgrade stuff. There are no 1394 ports in the back. Any suggestions?

Re: Installing 1394 card

$119? Wow I ordered one off ebay yesterday for $3.00. I hope I get the same quality video. I'll post when it comes in. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Installing 1394 card

Update: 1394 to USB failed, my software still says "no device detected". I am sure there is some way to install the card but I have no idea where to hook up the hardware since there's no easy slot in the back.
