Manhattan Ultra ATA/133 Controller does not detect DVD drive
Hello:
I have a Manhattan Ultra ATA/133 Controller and was told that in order to connect ATAPI devices like my HP DVD1040i drive I need to flash the card's BIOS. There's an utility on Manhattan¿s website, ITEFLASH2011.EXE that is supposed to flash the card's BIOS. Problem is when I execute the utility I get a warning screen that the RAID IDE chip could not be found even when the card is plugged into the motherboard. Windows XP detects the controller card with no problems. Anyone has run into similar problems? Thanks |
