buttons work but cursor does not(other mice work)

well, the cursor of my mouse(a4tech X7,XL-755K,USB,12 button)does not work while all of its buttons work.I have tested other mice(ps/2 mice,not USB)and they work properly.I have tested the problematic mouse on all the USB ports and the results are the same.I bought the mouse a few weeks back and it was working fine then.Unfortunately,it only had a two day warranty.And i think its a lazer mouse(not optical) and if I need to clean it then please tell me if opening it and cleaning it will really work.Please reply.Thanks in advance!

It's out of warranty so you can try opening it up and cleaning but I'd say it has failed.
A two day warranty would have made me very suspicious its quality.
