[SOLVED] Syncmaster 2693HM

Hi

I have this screen and am unable to run it at 1920x1200.
I’m using a HD4890 card and my previous screen was a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW which caused me no problems.

When checking the catalyst control centre “Desktop area” I can only choose 1280x1024 as maximum resolution, and, it says in “Panel information” that maximum resolution supported is 1280x1024.

I have the latest catalyst driver installed and the latest screen driver installed, I would really appreciate some help.

Thank you.

Re: Syncmaster 2693HM

Bump

Turned out that the software in the Monitor was damaged somehow, got a new screen and now it works perfectly.

Just letting you now case someone experiences the same problem.

Cheers.
