Monitor just goes black.
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on this forum and im hoping that i can get some help quickly. I have been searching for about two days for a solution to my problem and have been unsuccessful so far.
My problem started about a week ago. When I was playing World of Warcraft my monitor would go black out of the blue. At first i could fix the problem by pressing the Windows/start button on my keyboard to exit WoW. I could then go back into WoW and everything would run smoothly again for a couple hours. That happened between 4-5 times. Two days ago it happened again but this time i couldn't use the Windows/start button. I had to restart my computer to get my monitor to come back on. That worked once. Now my monitor will not come back on at all. I have tried turning my monitor on and off, i have unplugged it and plugged it back in and I even went and bought a new monitor cable. Nothing has worked. When i unplug my monitor cable there is a box that pops up telling me to "check signal cable". Please help. My Monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 225bw. |
