Help me to choose a monitor for gaming
As the title says I want to get a 16 or 17 inch LCD monitor (preferably 17") for my new computer build. This will be all about hardcore gaming, and money is not an issue in this case. I've been browsing for some hours and trying to see what the major manufacturers suggest, still the choices were only few and I'm not sure if it's going to be what I'm looking for.
So please suggest as much as alternatives you can and what are the best in terms of Brightness, Constrast, Response time etc...and a monitor that will support DVI-I since my Radeon HD 4870 has only DVI-I connectors. Thanks in advance fellas. |

Re: Help me to choose a monitor for gaming
You can get a good 19" for about the same or cheaper price than a 17".
Look for 5ms or less Response and 1000:1 or more Contrast.
