ps2 mouse no longer working or detected
The other day I recived an update and shortly after my mouse stoped working. The mouse itself works on other computers. When I open my device manager there is nothing even listed under "mice and other pointing devices" unless I plug in a USB mouse. Is this a known issue and are the any steps I can take to resolve it??

Hi, welcome to TSF
Was it a Windows update or a new mouse driver? Check the BIOS to see if the PS2 port has been disabled. Try going back to a System Restore point from before the update.
