Strange humming though headset mic

I bought a logitech clearchat pro and when I when i put it on and try to talk there's an annoying hum underneath everything I say.

I know that the hum goes away when i put my hands against the case or if i take the headset off, but it returns the moment i put my hand near it.

Apparently its something to do with earthing or an earth loop. Some electricity configuration. However, I have little or no knowledge of the workings of electricity and no idea how to go about solving this problem.
