No display, no boot, no beeps
Hi. this is my first post. hope someone can help.A friend asked to me to look at his problematic laptop. When you switch it on the power light comes on but there is no display on the screen. I tested the monitor on a separate pc but still nothing. I tested the hard drive and it works fine on another pc. the power supply seems ok. He suggested a memory problem to me. I've taken the memory out and tested it also. Everything seems ok with memory. When I switched the troubled laptop on without memory I don't hear any beeps at all. any help appreciated.
