system shuts down when i put a cd into dvd writer
hi i am running vista home premium with an amd 3600 cpu with 2gig mem
every time i put a cd or dvd into the drive the system shuts down please help |

Please post your PC specs.
Is the optical drive new? Is the problem new? Have you added any new hardware prior to the problem? Do you have another optical drive to try?
