Unwanted icon in Taskbar
After installing the driver of Philips Webcam SPC620NC on my PC (WIN XP Home, SP3), two icons are installed, one in the Systrem tray where it belongs, the other on the Taskbar itself (not the QuickLaunch bar!) where it does not belong. Rightclicking the icon in the System tray opens up the Property Page of the webcam, as it should; the icon on the Taskbar is completely dead.
How do I get rid of this non-functioning icon?? Philips Custumer Care in the Netherlands has never encountered this problem before but suggested the solution should lie somewhere in the Windows register. Last edited by Wingco230; 05-07-2009 at 06:45 AM. |
